New old oil line
A new, recycled oil line from an Yamaha sr 500 model 1978 has got a new home:)
Farmer’s racer is not the only garage working on custom SR’s. Mr Brate has a bike that will hit the road in the comming days. His old twin feed oil pipe did not dance very well with the rest of the bike. A new and sleeker design replaced this old prototype. Perfect to do some recycle behind the side panels of my racer. The ”made this myself” design feeling to this oil system suits farmer’s approach perfect.
The extra oil did cut a couple of degrees celsius of the top heat. In addition to this the carburettor has been adjusted to give a little richer fuel / air mix. The engine now runs at an oil temp of 85°C.
